On July 1st, Nayax, a global business support, payment, and loyalty platform, announced the launch of its cloud based payment solution, Nayax EV CloudPay, which can help consumers make payments conveniently at electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
EV CloudPay allows drivers to pay fees using credit cards, debit cards, or mobile wallets through physical payment processing kiosks located at charging stations, without the need to connect separate payment processing devices to each charger. The physical payment processing kiosk will be able to accept over 80 cashless and digital payment methods.
Many drivers currently pay fees by downloading multiple mobile applications, which is a time-consuming process. Due to the fact that the physical payment processing kiosk is cloud based, a single kiosk can easily pay for multiple chargers. This creates a seamless experience for charging station operators and customers.
